Who is mentoring suitable for? 

Mentoring is suitable for authors at all writing stages who would like bespoke, one-to-one support with their writing or next steps. 

Mentoring can cover, but is not limited to, the mentor supporting with: 
  1. Coming up with ideas 
  2. Planning a project 
  3. Refining opening chapters 
  4. Providing coaching and feedback along the writing process 
  5. Learning about specific narrative skills 
  6. Identifying genre and target market 
  7. Motivation to complete the draft 
  8. How to complete and edit a manuscript 
  9. Preparing an agent submission pack 
  10. Tips on querying agents 
  11. Self-publishing and author marketing  
The sessions can be held over video call or phone call, as written feedback over email, or a combination. This can be decided between you and your mentor in order to best meet your needs.
