My Bookings:

Can I see which workshops and One-to-Ones are available before I buy my ticket?

You can view all upcoming workshops on the Agenda page of the booking platform before purchasing your ticket. When you purchase your ticket, you'll be prompted to add workshops to your at the same time, so we recommend looking at the Agenda and noting down any you're interested in before heading to checkout. Workshops which are not available to book will be shown as Sold Out. You can change your workshop bookings after purchasing your ticket (see below for more information).

Please stay tuned for further information on One-to-One sessions.

Which workshops/One-to-One sessions should I book?

We’ve planned a programme of workshops and panels encompassing a wide range of topics, genres and skill levels, so we’re confident that you’ll always be able to find something interesting happening. Please read the information in the event programme carefully to find out more about each workshop/panel.

Similarly, the agents and book doctors participating in the One-to-One feedback sessions have been selected to provide coverage of a wide range of genres, including children’s fiction, adult fiction and non-fiction. Sessions are first-come, first-served, so we encourage you to book early and read the full bios of available participants closely before booking, as all session selections are final. Remember that these sessions are for feedback rather than pitching, so don’t worry about finding the perfect fit; if an agent or book doctor has experience handling your genre, they should be able to provide you with some helpful advice.

Where can I find my bookings?

You can find your bookings by visiting the Favourited Sessions tab on the Agenda page, or by clicking your initials/profile picture, selecting Your Tickets and then clicking Your Sessions in the navigation bar.

Can I change my bookings?

If you would like to change your ticket type, e.g. from a Saturday/Sunday ticket to a Weekend ticket, or from a Workshop Pass to an All-Access Pass, please visit the related FAQ: Can I upgrade my ticket?

You can book new sessions via the Agenda page. If you can see 'Restricted' displayed next to a workshop on the Agenda page, this means you cannot book the workshop. This may be because it requires you to have a different ticket type (e.g. a Saturday ticket instead of a Sunday ticket) or because you have already selected a workshop for that time slot.

To manage your bookings, click your initials/profile picture, select Your Tickets and then click Your Orders in the navigation bar. Here, you can manage your ticket and all bookings associated with it. Click the dropdown arrow beside the Edit button and then click Cancel Ticket, then select the workshops you would like to cancel. You will need to enter a reason for cancellation in the box at the top, but can simply indicate you wish to rebook your workshops. Our team will then process the cancellation, after which you will be able to rebook via the Agenda page. Please ensure you are happy with all of your selections before you attend the Festival, as you will be scanned into workshops at the door. For more information, please see the related FAQ below:Can I attend a workshop or One-to-One if I have not pre-booked?

What happens if I am late to a booked session?

If you are late to a workshop or panel, please enter quietly to avoid disruption. We ask the same if you need to temporarily leave a workshop or panel for any reason, including to attend a One-to-One session. Please see the related FAQ: My one-to-one slot is during a workshop I'd like to attend. Is that okay?

If you are late to a booked One-to-One session, please speak to a member of staff outside the One-to-One room. While we will do our best to help, we cannot guarantee that your session will be rescheduled if you are late, and no refunds will be provided if you miss some or all of your session for this reason.

Can I attend a workshop or One-to-One if I have not pre-booked?

You will only be able to attend a One-to-One feedback session if you book your session before the deadline of 10am (BST) on May 18th 2026. No sessions will be available on a walk-in basis.

If you would like to attend a workshop or panel which you have not booked ahead of time, please speak to a member of Jericho Writers staff at the workshop door. Admission will be at the discretion of staff and will depend on room capacity. Booking ahead is the only way to ensure your admission to the workshop, so please make your selections carefully.

Will sessions be recorded?

Sessions will not be recorded, so please come to your workshops, panels and One-to-Ones ready to take notes! While workshop slides will be shared after the Festival, please be aware that not all content discussed during a workshop (particularly during Q&As) will be included in the slides.
