Access needs, dietary needs and other requests

Access needs, dietary needs and other requests:

I have access needs. Can these be accommodated?

When you purchase your ticket, you’ll be asked about any access needs we should be aware of. You can edit these by clicking your initials/profile picture, clicking Your Tickets, and then clicking the pencil/Edit icon and saving any changes. We encourage you to reach out to us directly by emailing info@jerichowriters.com if there is anything you would like to discuss with us – we’ll be happy to help.

The venue is equipped with step-free access to the building and to all rooms used for the Festival. There is a wheelchair-friendly lift that is designated specifically for festival attendees (general hotel guests are not permitted to use it) and we will be advising all attendees to allow those with accessibility needs to use the lift first.

A quiet space will also be available at the venue if you require some time away from the Festival programme. You are also welcome to leave the venue for fresh air at any time – just be sure to keep your lanyard with you so you can return later.

I have dietary needs. Can these be accommodated?

When you purchase your ticket, you’ll be asked about any dietary needs we should be aware of. If your dietary needs change after you purchase your ticket, you can edit them by clicking your initials/profile picture, clicking Your Tickets, and then clicking the pencil/Edit icon and saving any changes. Please ensure your dietary needs are up-to-date and saved by 1pm (BST) on May 18th 2026, as we will be passing all information to the venue after this deadline.

Lunches will be served buffet-style and will cover a wide range of dietary needs. Venue staff will be available if you have any questions about the buffet options.

Tea and coffee will be served through the weekend. In addition to dairy milk, non-dairy milk alternatives will be provided during tea and coffee services.

If you are attending the Gala Dinner on Saturday, you will be prompted as part of your Festival to-do list to complete a selection form by the deadline of 1pm (BST) on May 18th 2026. As part of this form, you will be prompted to choose which set menu you would like for the Gala Dinner. The set menus will cover vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets, and these options are clearly indicated on the form. We will also refer to the dietary needs you have included alongside your ticket order and, if you have reported any dietary needs not already accounted for by the set menu, we will pass these along to the venue so they can make necessary modifications. We encourage you to review the menu options and ensure that you have edited your ticket so that all information provided to us is up to date by the stated deadline. If you have any concerns about your menu selection, please contact us at info@jerichowriters.com.

Will there be photography at the Festival?

Yes, we will be taking photographs at the Festival and photos taken at the Festival may be used on our website, social media, and event brochures. If you are not comfortable with being photographed, simply inform a member of Jericho Writers staff at the registration desk when you collect your name badge and you will be supplied with a red lanyard which will indicate this preference to our Marketing team.
