Yes, you don't need to leave the festival venue to attend the Saturday evening gala dinner or drinks. There will, however, be a 90-minute break in which you are welcome to leave the venue to get changed or freshen up.

We will attempt to sit you on a table with people writing in a similar genre to you (based off the genre(s) you state when you purchase your ticket). If there is someone specific you'd like to sit next to, you can specify this when purchasing your ticket or by navigating to your My Festival page on the festival website and clicking the 'let us know' button. You will need to complete any seating requests by 11.59pm (BST) on May 29th 2027.

Please note that seating requests must be mutually agreed; if you request to sit next to an attendee but they have not made the same request of you in their Gala Dinner selection form, you will be seated separately. For this reason, we encourage you to coordinate your plans with other attendees using the direct messaging feature of the booking platform.

While we encourage you to dress up, we have no formal dress code and you’re welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. 

Yes, but your guest will need to pay separately to cover their catering costs, and they will not be able to enter Friday Night Live (but on a Saturday) or any other events on the Festival programme.
